This is called the West Boynton Park and Recreation Center but it is in Lake Worth? I don't get it but it might be named so because it is west of Boynton Beach. Regardless of the name or which town it is actually located in, this is a pretty great park. This is one of the many parks managed by the Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department. West Boynton Park and Recreation Center is open from sunrise to sunset. The large 47 acre park has enough amenities to appeal to everyone both indoors and outside. The indoor recreation center has administrative offices, a gymnasium, and meeting rooms. It offers a variety of programs, including youth basketball and junior volleyball leagues and open gym. Outdoors the park has five lighted baseball fields, 2 lighted softball fields, tennis courts and lighted basketball courts available when Park Vista HS next door is not in session, a mile exercise court with 15 Vita Course 2000 exercise stations, three lighted multipurpose fields, three picnic shelters and a large picnic pavilion with multiple tables and two large grills which can be reserved, a fenced in playground, a roller hockey rink and skate park, and a sand volleyball court. I walk everyday and when traveling I like to find different places to take a walk. This was right around the corner from where I was happy I found it on Google Maps. It’s a local park with lots of ball fields, tennis courts, volleyball courts, skateboarding park and a wood chip covered walking path that is a mile long. There are good bathroom facilities in the park. The park has lots of parking but when a few games are going on at the same time it might get busy. We walked 4 miles on the path with a few other people also doing laps. There are exercise stations along the path. It’s not a park you would go far out of the way to visit but perfect if you are in the area and want to take a walk or use one of the fields/courts.

Loved this park! Was looking for a local safe parks to take the kids for a run-around and found it! Playground facilities were nothing elaborate but well maintained. Padded astroturf as the base so no mulch mess to deal with. Area is also fenced in with clean bathroom facilities adjacent. Really nice experience.

Took my 6-week old son to this park. It’s a low key park with recreation center. It appears to be a park that’s been established for several years. It has a playground, baseball field, beach volleyball, and multiple soccer fields. They have gazebos and tables so you can bring your lunch and snacks. If you’re looking for a standard park to take your little one this is a great choice.
